Childless Russians going through a ‘porn ban’ as Putin forces them to have intercourse as an alternative
Vlad is mad about the the declining birth rates in his country and has previously urged families to have at least three children… now he is planning to ban them from watching porn
Mad Vlad wants to stop childless Russians watching porn in a bid to boost Russia’s declining birth rate. Adult sites will be only be available to men and women who already have children under plans from the dictator’s officials.
Pro-Kremlin lawmaker Tatyana Butskaya, 50, said the crackdown will force them to have sex as birth rates continue to decline in the country despite long-term efforts to reverse the trend.
The mum-of-two said adult content is stopping Russians forming real relationships, adding: “Nature has arranged it so that teenagers have raging hormones and simply need to have sex. People must make love in order to have children.”
The prominent MP, who deputy chair of the Russian parliament’s Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, said: “It’s really surprising why they don’t want to have sex.
“If they don’t have sex, there are apparently some substitutes, and we even know what those substitutes are called: adult websites. Here, obviously, we need to think about what can be done.”
Butskaya told pro-Putin radio station Govorit Moskva that the issue could not be left unregulated, claiming biology itself was being undermined.
She added: “Because if we just close our eyes to this situation, then probably that very sperm will never unite with that very egg.”
Russia currently has an estimated population of 146 million, down from 147.2 million recorded in the 2021 census. But since 2016, its death rate has exceeded its birth rate. And Mad Vlad has long called for couples to pop out more kids.
The country recorded its lowest birth rate in 200 years years in the first three months of 2025, with just around 293,000 newborns registered, a 2.4% drop from the first quarter of 2024.
Russian authorities have restricted access to abortions and contraception and have even offered pregnant women payouts in a bid to boost the country’s declining population rates for more than a decade.
In 2023, Russian politician Valery Seleznyov suggested releasing women convicted of minor charges from prisons so they can conceive.
But they have had no affect as Mad Vlad last year urged families to have at least three children and told the Kremlin: “The already adopted demographic development measures are apparently not sufficient.
“Unfortunately, the negative trend persists, and the birth rate continues to decline.
“Our long-term historical goal is to preserve and to multiply our people. Despite the current situation and the objective difficulties, we must stay the course.
“Higher birth rates, support for families with children, and longer and healthy lives represent key areas of our joint efforts.”
