King Charles heckled once more about Andrew’s Epstein scandal throughout walkabout
King Charles faced yet more fury over his disgraced younger brother on a walkabout today, although the crowd tried to shush the cheeky heckler
King Charles might have booted Andrew out of Windsor but he’s still getting pestered about his dodgy brother each time he tries to meet his loyal subjects.
After the King got heckled last week in the picturesque village of Dedham in Essex, today it was the turn of a local in Lancashire to set the famously outsize royal ears burning.
While Charles was greeting well-wishers in Clitheroe, a man yelled out, “How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?” The cheeky question sparked a chorus of boos, but more awkward moments surely await the King over his brother’s scandalous friendship with the paedophile financier.
Charles arrived by the royal train on one of its last trips before it’s scrapped next year to save cash. He was met by kids from Clitheroe St James’s, Sabden primary, and Barrow primary schools.
They waved flags and shouted, “It’s the King”, as his train arrived. He was then greeted by Lord-lieutenant of Lancashire, Amanda Parker, before meeting the public outside.
But when he started chatting with royal fans, the heckler seized his chance to ask about Andrew and Epstein. Fresh details of the ex-prince’s shocking relationship with the child predator emerged last week, with the revelation that Andrew sent the twisted financier pics of his daughters.
The latest emails raise fears that Epstein sent a a second woman to the UK for a sexual encounter with Andrew. The gruesome twosome may also have asked an exotic dancer for a threesome in Epstein’s Florida home.
But the rest of the crowd booed the heckler. Many could also be heard telling him to “shut up”.
Just last week, the King was heckled about his brother’s friendship with the wealthy paedo on a visit in Essex. The heckler, who gave his name as Richard Gadd, 73, asked Charles if he had pressured cops to investigate his brother. Two officers walked him away from the crowd.
The heckler in Clitheroe was pulled away by another member of the public then walked off, according to locals. A video shows the crowd shouting “shut up” and “kick him out”. They then cheer as the heckler is turfed out.
The royal family have shared their horror at the latest bombshells on Andrew’s sleazy connection with Epstein. The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be “deeply concerned” about “continuing revelations”.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: “I can confirm The Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”
Locals in Lancashire gave the King a pass over his younger brother. Christine Dilworth, 66, a pub owner from Pendleton who presented the King with some daffodils, told The Sun, “I think people should put that behind them.
“The last thing I want is someone coming out with something they don’t need to come out with and spoiling it for other people.”
Charles has stripped Andrew of all titles and booted him from Royal Lodge over his friendship with Epstein.
But the King looks set for further embarrassment on his walkabouts. On a visit to Bradford a few years ago he even met the blunt question, “Where’s his noncy brother?”
