Paedo Epstein had a ‘nine-year-old sufferer’ in new ‘preposterous and scandalous’ information
Unredacted files related to the paedophile financier have been reviewed by US Congressmen, who have accused the Department of Justice of a cover-up after the identities of six men appear to have been protected
Jeffrey Epstein had a nine-year-old victim and was associated with a current top ‘foreign government official’, files relating to the dead paedo allegedly show.
US lawmakers Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna said six men are likely incriminated after viewing the unredacted files in the latest trove of documents made public. Republican representative Massie said it included a man who is “pretty high up in a foreign government.”
He posted a document which contains 18 redactions and urged the US government’s Department of Justice to “correct their mistakes”, while Democrat Jamie Raskin said the files contained several previously unreported young victims, one as young as nine.
He said: “You read through these files, and you read about 15-year-old girls, 14-year-old girls, 10-year-old girls. I saw a mention of a 9-year-old girl today. I mean, this is just preposterous and scandalous.
“I saw the names of lots of people who were redacted for mysterious or baffling or inscrutable reasons. There are certainly lots of names of other people who were enablers and cooperators with Jeffrey Epstein that were just blanked out for no apparent reason.”
Bipartisan duo Massie and Khanna have spearheaded the release of the Epstein Files since last July and pushed for a vote on their Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was eventually signed into law by Donald Trump.
But despite the law, they are still fighting for transparency as the DOJ released more than three million Epstein files on January 30, but the majority of them were heavily redacted.
Monday marked the first time members of Congress could view the unredacted files by visiting a Department of Justice building in Northeast Washington, DC, in person and accessing them on the DOJ’s computers.
The pair questioned why the high-profile men had their faces and images obscured, alleging a cover-up.
Khanna said: “What I saw that bothered me were the names of at least six men that have been redacted that are likely incriminated by their inclusion in these files. it took some digging to find them.”
One document posted on X by Massie contains 18 redactions – four of them being “men born before 1970”. Another post showed another redacted file, with Massie saying: “This is [a] well known retired CEO. DOJ should unredact this.”
Epstein’s accomplice and ex-lover Ghislaine Maxwell outright refused to answer any questions over her links with the paedophile during a crunch Congress hearing on Monday.
Dressed in a beige prison outfit, the shamed British socialite, 64, was seen invoking her “right to silence” in footage of the deposition as she said she had been urged not to speak by her lawyers.
