New Oscar Piastri burger launched forward of F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne

- McLaren driver, 24, extends partnership with fast food franchise
Aussie F1 star Oscar Piastri has revealed he is continuing his partnership with popular fast food franchise Grill’d.
They have collaborated to launch the new Oscar Piastri Chicken Burger, which was launched in-store from February 10.
It follows the success of last year’s Oscar Piastri Wagyu Burger.
The chicken burger is crafted with RSPCA-approved chicken breast, crispy bacon and aged cheddar cheese.
It also boasts shredded carrot, lettuce, avocado, Spanish onion, special chipotle mayo and Davidson plum barbecue sauce.
The burger, made using a charcoal bun, retails for $18.90.

A new ‘Oscar Piastri Chicken Burger’ was launched this week for F1 fans across Australia

It is also available as part of a $27.90 meal pack, which includes chips and Lipton Peach Iced Tea.
The collaboration doesn’t end there.
Grill’d is also introducing the Oscar Piastri Wagyu Burger 2-pack at Coles for a limited time, priced at $12.
‘We are incredibly proud to be extending our partnership with Oscar for another year,’ Grill’d founder Simon Crowe said.
‘He represents everything we believe in: precision, commitment and performing at the highest level.’
Piastri himself is thrilled with the new burger announcement.
‘I loved seeing how fans got around the first burger, so it’s been really fun teaming up with Grill’d again to create something new,’ the 24-year-old said.
It comes as Piastri, who finished third in the 2025 World Drivers’ Championship, prepares for this year’s F1 season-opener in Melbourne.
Melbourne-born Piastri is set to compete in his fourth season at the top level – and again for McLaren
The 24-year-old (pictured, with girlfriend Lily Zniemer) is already one of Australia’s best ever motorsport athletes
The Aussie led the championship for the majority of last season but was overtaken by both Max Verstappen and eventual champion Lando Norris in the final stretch of the year.
Piastri will again drive for McLaren alongside Norris, with the pair gunning to bring the team a third consecutive World Constructors’ Championship.
The Aussie driver, Norris, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, and Mercedes’ George Russell are emerging as the main contenders for the drivers’ title.
If Piastri were victorious at season’s end, he would become the first Australian to win an F1 championship since Alan Jones in 1980.
The 2026 season begins on March 8, with Melbourne’s Albert Park Circuit the venue.
