The Winter Olympics star who went viral following viral comments about her stay at the Olympic Village has spoken out about her experience.

Isabeau Levito, 18, made waves during her Winter Olympics debut for Team USA. Despite still being a teenager, Levito arrived at the Milan Cortina Games with medal aspirations after earning silver at the World Championships in 2024.

However, Levito went viral before even taking to the ice at the Winter Olympics. The young Olympian has been enjoying her time at the Olympic Village and recently joked about being evicted.

She told NBC: “I’ve spent every night in the [Olympic] Village. It’s been everything and more. And you can’t evict me. I don’t think there’s anything not to enjoy [about the Olympic Village].

“I haven’t even gotten to compete yet, and I feel like my experience is already complete. Not complete, but I’m having a blast. The best time.”

Levito was supported by her mother and aunt in the crowd during her first Olympic performance on Tuesday. The figure skating prodigy was delighted with her display at the Milano Ice Skating Arena and could not wait to speak to her family.

“I haven’t gotten them on my phone yet, but I know that they must have loved that and must be happy for me,” Levito said to Olympics.com. “I feel very happy that my Olympic debut went like that and with this programme.“

Levito was cheered on by the crowd as she channelled Italian icon Sophia Loren during her routine. Her performance was soundtracked by two of Loren’s songs, ‘Almost In Your Arms’ and ‘Zou Bisou Bisou’.

“I loved every minute of the short program,” Levito said. “It makes me feel so good because I get to embody this diva and I can feel it go into my personality and give me confidence. And I just had a great time.”
