Boy, 3, dies after struggling ‘critical accidents’ as two charged with homicide
Police have confirmed the heartbreaking death of a three-year-old boy who has sadly passed away weeks after being rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Two people have now been charged with murder as part of an ongoing investigation into the death of the three-year-old Woolwich. The boy can now be named as Isiayah Henry, also from Woolwich.
Police were called to hospital on Saturday, 3 January, following concerns around Isiayah who had been admitted with serious injuries.
Following initial enquiries, a safeguarding and criminal investigation was launched by Metropolitan Police officers.
In a statement, police confirmed that despite best efforts of medical staff, Isiayah sadly died on Monday, 19 January.

Police put out the statement today, confirmed the arrests had been made with two people charged with murder and causing/allowing the death of a child in connection.
Spokesperson for The Met Police said: “Enquiries have been ongoing within the Met’s Specialist Crime Command. On Friday, 20 February, two people were charged with murder and causing/allowing the death of a child in connection with Isiayah’s death following an appearance at Woolwich Crown Court.
“Tanisha Henry, 28 (19.04.97) of St Marys Street, Woolwich and Mikael Williams, 30 (27.02.95) of Beaconsfield Rd, SE17 will next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday, 22 April.
“Isiayah’s family have been informed and continue to receive support from specialist officers.”
