Ian Huntley jail assault replace as police affirm his ‘critical accidents’
Soham child killer Ian Huntley is reportedly “fighting for his life” as the police have confirmed an inmate at HMP Frankland has suffered “serious injuries”.
Huntley was reportedly left in a pool of blood and was airlifted to an unknown hospital following the incident at 9am this morning (February 26).
The 52-year-old is currently serving a life sentence after being found guilty of killing two 10-year-old girls, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, who went missing from a family barbecue in Soham, Cambridgeshire, in August 2002.
Both the Prison Service and Durham Constabulary have released statements following the “assault” at the prison.
