Sydney Sweeney stuns followers with unlikely soccer expertise – ‘she’s higher than Ugarte’

Stunning Hollywood A-lister Sydney Sweeney wowed fans with her footballing skills when she took to the pitch after Sporting CP’s Primeira Liga win

Sydney Sweeney stunned fans on Friday night with an unlikely talent as she showed off her footballing skills in Portugal.

Sydney, 28, graced Sporting Lisbon fans with her presence during their Primeira Liga clash with Estoril, which they won 3-0, at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. And after the win, the stunning actress made her way down to the pitch.

In the viral video, Sydney can be seen juggling the ball and knocking it about with fellow actors Leo Woodall and Matthew Goode. And she showed off some close control before beating Leo for pace when he tried to close her down.

And fans have lauded her skills, joking on social media: “Honestly more technical ability than Ugarte ngl…”

“No way she’s actually got baseline football technique. Never really cared about her but seeing her know how to control a ball and dribble with it,” a second said. While a third replied: “I’d rather her over Garnacho!”

“Can this woman get any more attractive,” a fifth questioned. And another added: “She’s completed more dribbles than Garnacho this season!”

Sydney was in Lisbon ahead of the filming of her upcoming film, Custom of the Country; the adaptation of Edith Wharton’s classic was announced only last month.

Sporting also shared snaps of her on their own social media channels, with one snap showing the Hollywood A-lister in the arms of Sporting’s mascot Jubas.

And a quick video showed the American being presented with her own personalised shirt.

On the pitch, goals from Luis Suarez and Daniel Braganca got the job done for the Portuguese giants.
