Donald Trump ‘sexual misconduct’ claims anticipated in 50,000 ‘lacking’ Epstein recordsdata launch

A fresh cache of ‘missing’ files connected to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein are set to be released by the US Department of Justice – and could contain unsubstantiated ‘sexual misconduct’ claims against the US President

The US Department of Justice is gearing up to release 50,000 “missing” Jeffrey Epstein files this week. The documents were referred to in the tranche released in late January but appear to have been withheld.

The unreleased records potentially contain unverified claims about Donald Trump, including unsubstantiated allegations of sexual misconduct by the US President in an FBI report. US news outlets Wall Street Journal and CBS News found 47,635 files which appeared to be missing.

The Justice Department responded saying the files had been taken “offline for further review and should be ready for re-production by the end of the week”. However, officials previously said some documents included fake or false materials sent to the FBI that may “contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump”.

Three FBI memos summarise interviews with a woman who came forward after Epstein’s 2019 arrest to alleged she had been sexually assaulted by Trump and the financier in the mid-1980s when she was a minor. Already published files contain a 2025 memo where officials recorded that the woman had said that Epstein introduced her to Trump.

She went on to alleged that Trump assaulted her when she was 13 to 15 years old in 1983 in the unsubstantiated record. However, there is no evidence Trump and Epstein knew each other in 1983.

Trump has denied all allegations of wrongdoing and being included in the Epstein files does not imply any wrongdoing. An FBI credibility assessment of the woman’s accusations was not included and she was deemed ineligible for the Epstein victims’ compensation scheme, which has paid out to 130 victims.

Previously, Trump was accused of measuring a child’s genitals with his fingers at an “auction” at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Epstein files. The shocking claims emerged in an email outlining complaints lodged with the FBI’s National Threat Operations Centre concerning Epstein, the paedophile billionaire who was discovered dead in his prison cell in 2019.

The papers contain an accusation that Trump would hold gatherings at his Florida resort. Throughout these occasions, Epstein would purportedly transport children for Trump and put them up for auction. Being named in these papers does not suggest any wrongdoing.

In response, the White House said the allegations are “unfounded and false” and said the Epstein investigation has been “weaponised” against Trump.
