British accents are among the sexiest on the planet – with stars from our shores dominating a new celebrity voice ranking.
Spanish pop sensation Rosalía’s dulcet tones were the most attractive among female stars while Irish actor Andrew Scott was the top male.
But overall the list was packed full of Brits, with 13 of the top 20 hailing from the UK.
White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood, The Fall Guy actress Emily Blunt and Killing Eve lead Jodie Comer all made the cut.
Scots James McAvoy and Lewis Capaldi made the lads’ list with Gladiator II actor Paul Mescal.
Other ranking celebrities include Pamela Anderson, Jeremy Allen White and Taylor Swift.
Researchers from lingerie brand Pour Moi asked 500 people to listen to clips from 100 celebrity voices and rate them on ‘sexy’ qualities such as pitch, speed and volume.
Marina Nicoli, of the undies firm, said: “We all have that one voice we could listen to on repeat.
“This research shows we’re increasingly paying more attention to more than just aesthetics when it comes to attraction.
“In a world shaped by podcasts, audiobooks, interviews, and voice notes, how someone sounds has become a powerful part of how they express themselves and connect with others.”
