Doomsday prepper urges individuals to do three issues instantly as battle in Iran rages
As the US-Iran conflict continues, a doomsday prepper has shared an urgent warning for people to protect their money, create go bags and store vital documents
A doomsday prepper is urging people to take three immediate actions as the US-Iran conflict continues. The war in the Middle East started 10 days ago.
And with tensions escalating further, Rowan MacKenzie has issued an urgent alert so people can safeguard themselves and their loved ones, before it’s potentially too late. The 40-year-old, who previously owned a bunker, says it’s essential these three measures are taken straight away.
“Protecting your money is of utmost importance right now,” the doomsday prepper said. “You never know when – or if – the grid will be cut off. If it is, your money is as good as dirt if it’s in the bank.
“Leave half of what you have in the bank and have the other half in cash. Ideally, take out as much as you need to survive a week at the very least.”
Rowan, who doesn’t wish to disclose her location in the US, was “forced” to abandon her bunker, which contained $423,000 (USD) worth of supplies, due to soaring costs in the country. Consequently, she’s beginning again from the ground up. Using a modest budget, she’s assembled “go bags” for her family to utilise during an emergency.
She explained: “These bags have water, non-perishable food, a change of clothes and a phone charger. I also have an escape plan for each family member. But that’s super sensitive information, so it remains top secret.”
She also advises stockpiling at least 72 hours’ worth of essentials, such as medications and weaponry, separate from the “go bags”. Other suggestions encompass investing in gold or silver and reverting to storing physical copies of documents, rather than depending on technology.
Rowan advised: “Important documents online will mean nothing if the internet goes down. So make sure you’ve got a folder containing all important paperwork to protect them and have them on hand if needed.
“Store physical copies in a well-hidden place – some place only you and your family know. Put them in a lock box or waterproof pack.”
Rowan, who is convinced that war was no longer an option, does worry that her safety has been jeopardised. She said: “Many Americans are fearing that we’ve provoked our most powerful enemy and put ourselves at risk.
“Every step we take for liberty abroad, a couple of steps back at home is taken. It’s time to be proactive about security more than ever right now.
“Plan for an air strike and stay hidden at all costs. Black out your windows, make your home look desolate.
“Staying alert is no longer a choice. We’re entering into a very unstable time and being prepared is the only thing we can control.
“This is the beginning – we must be ready for whatever comes next.”
