Helen Hunt quietly attended Vanity Fair’s Oscar party on Sunday night after the ceremony.
The 62-year-old actress, who won an Academy Award in 1998, went under the radar as she arrived in a champagne-colored dress with a two-tone chain collar.
Her graying hair was styled in a wispy bob with face-framing curtain bangs as she showed off her stylish ensemble.
And Hunt’s face was aglow in natural-looking matte makeup.
The silver-screen veteran, who has retreated from the limelight in recent years, was accompanied by boyfriend Jeffrey Nordling, 64.
Her appearance at the 98th Academy Awards comes 28 years after she won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role as Carol Connelly in 1997’s As Good As It Gets.

After scoring her Oscar at age 34, Hunt reconsidered how much she wanted to be in the spotlight.
She told The Guardian in 2019: ‘It was a very famous time. I felt quite nervous because I was being followed. I remember thinking: “What if I can’t turn this off? Am I always going to be walking to my car and there are people with cameras there? Does this last forever?”‘
The tide shifted when she had her daughter, Makena Lei Carnahan, in 2004 and began working behind the camera.
Elsewhere in the interview, she said, ‘It’s so funny when people ask, “What happened to you?”… There’s a difference between working hard and being famous.’
The star rose to fame with her role as Jamie Buchman in the 90s sitcom Mad About You.
Throughout her career, she has earned the Oscar, three Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards.
But by the mid-2000s, she took a step back from the entertainment industry as she said she did not want to ‘sacrifice’ herself to Hollywood.

Hunt continues to act and direct – she appeared in the hit HBO series Hacks between 2024 and 2025, and the series Blindspotting between 2021 and 2023.
In 2025, she landed a lead role in the thriller In Cold Light, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.
She split from longtime partner Matthew Carnahan – with whom she had her 21-year-old daughter – in 2017.
The actress found love again with Nordling, whom she has been dating since January 2022.
The couple had previously seen each other in the late 1980s after meeting on a film set.
