Princess Eugenie and Beatrice face ‘social spoil’ as lives are ‘irreparably shattered’
The socialite duo of princesses Eugenie and Beatrice have tried to keep a relatively low profile in recent months after their father Andrew Windsor’s arrest last month
Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice could be facing “social ruin” after their dad Andrew was caught up in the Jeffrey Epstein saga. Despite denying all allegations, Andrew was arrested 19 February 2026 on suspicions of misconduct in public office in connection with his ties to convicted paedophile Epstein.
And while there is no connection to the issues and Andrew’s daughters, the pair – and their husbands – have seemingly been shunned by the socialite community.
There were rumours that Edoardo Mozzie (Beatrice’s husband) Jack Brooksbank (Eugenie’s husband) were looking for ways out, but they were never confirmed and have since disappeared.
However, speaking to Heatworld, a source said: “The princesses are devastated by what’s happening – their worlds are falling apart. Jack and Edo are both doing their best to be supportive, but the strain is affecting their home life.
“Their view of their parents has been irreparably shattered, they’re facing social ruin, and now Jack and Edo have been dragged into the drama, as they are facing questions about Andrew – it’s mortifying. Obviously, it’s not the girls’ fault, but that doesn’t mean it’s not causing tension.”
“Jack and Edo want to know how long this is going to drag on. Both Eugenie and Beatrice have so far chosen to remain silent, and there are certainly some people who wonder if they’re doing the right thing by keeping so tight-lipped and feel they’d be better off speaking out.
“They’re doing their very best not to give in to total hysteria, but it’s no exaggeration to say this is the hardest thing they’ve ever endured, and they’re feeling the consequences publicly. They’re used to flying under the radar, now when they walk into rooms, the conversations are stopping mid-sentence. It’s very uncomfortable.”
Beatrice and Eugenie have never openly commented on the Epstein scandal, and have both made public appearances – albeit sporadic – in recent months, including at various charity events.
Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on his 66th birthday on 19 February, when officers descended on Wood Farm, Sandringham.
He has consistently denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
