Four-legged Nostradamus predicts finish of world, Zelenskyy future and treatment for diabetes

A Russian cat is taking social media by storm with wild predictions about the future of humanity. The ginger tabby called Khariton has over a million online followers who adore watching the feline ‘seer’ answer it’s owner’s questions by pushing buttons left out on a mat.

The moggy Nostradamus appears to understand human speech as he glares at his owner and only moves to “submit” an answer after they finished their question. Many followers believe the furry fortune teller thinks before “answering”.

As well as answering yes and no questions from followers, Khariton sometimes chooses to “chat” with his fans. The owner places an array of buttons on the mat for the cat to compose sentences, describe his emotions and even tell stories from his past life.

Devoted fans insist it is not just the cat’s intelligence that makes him great but his ability to “predict” the future. Among the most popular predictions made by Khariton was around the fate of the world.

After human seer Vanga predicted the gates of hell would open on April 12, 2026 – two days from now, eek – followers were keen to see if the cat had the same feeling. Luckily for all of us, Khariton is confident the world will not end in a matter of hours and showed it by hitting the no button twice.

Given the cat’s Russian heritage, he was asked whether Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be overthrown in summer 2026. The cat ‘seer’ answered no, likely infuriating Putin.

However, perhaps out of fear of his country’s blood thirsty dictator, the moggy added that Zelenskyy won’t be in power long but did not give any exact dates.

Bizarrely, the clairvoyant kitty was also asked if a cure for type 1 diabetes will be found. A massive medical breakthrough may be just around the corner as the cat answered yes with many fans celebrating the good news.

The marmalade cat also predicted boffins will soon discover a way to stop the aging process and added that another pandemic will not strike anytime soon.

However, it wasn’t all peaches and cream as the cat confidently predicted the world will end at some point in 2027.

As with all things, it wasn’t long before the cat was asked about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and whether or not it is the antichrist. The answer was less than clear with Khariton initially hitting yes and then switching to a no.

Superfans speculated the yes may have been an accident or could be the cat trying to tell us the answer is much more complex than a binary answer can deliver.
