Carol Vorderman’s intercourse life mentioned reside on air as mics catch out digital camera crew

A conversation about TV presenter Carol Vorderman’s sex life was broadcast live on air after a camera crew were unaware they were on mic during a sporting event

A bizarre and risqué conversation about TV host Carol Vorderman’s romantic relationships was accidentally broadcast live on air when a camera crew didn’t realise they were filming a tennis practice match.

The uncomfortable incident occurred at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart earlier this week, where a stationary camera was positioned in a commentary box to record the practice sessions of leading players. These were then streamed on the tournament website.

During the broadcast of the session between Alex Eala and Iga Swiatek, two of the tour’s most popular players, three men setting up equipment for a separate broadcast were overheard on the mic discussing Vorderman and another woman.

It’s understood that none of the men were affiliated with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and all three are reportedly mortified. Staff have been reminded of their responsibilities within the workplace.

The chat about TV presenter Vorderman focused on her open relationships with several men – a topic she has openly discussed. She has stated that she has no desire to settle down in a long-term relationship again after two divorces. Instead, she has candidly spoken about having a number of “friends with benefits” in her life.

The three men caught on the broadcast microphones initially started discussing a different woman, before shifting their attention to Vorderman, implying she had undergone a “butt lift”. Vorderman has never confirmed having surgery, instead attributing her physique to her healthy lifestyle which includes over 20,000 squats annually.

At one point, a man is heard saying “She’s come out and says that she’s in like an open relationship with five or six guys.”

“With five or six guys?” another responds in surprise. “Good girl. Wow,” comments the other.

There is then a distasteful remark made about the risks of sexually transmitted infections in open relationships.

Seemingly discussing another unnamed celebrity, one man can also be heard exclaiming: “Oh my god, she’s 51 mate.” His colleague replies: “Oh yeah, she looks great. She’s amazing.

“She looks 25,” the first speaker retorts. “Yeah, she does look great. Can’t argue with that.”

At this point a third person appears to join in. “I follow her on Instagram, because she’s from Southampton,” he reveals. “You’re such a stalker!” is the response from the first speaker.

Vorderman, now 65, has previously spoken openly about her approach to her love life.

“Half of first marriages end in divorce, and nearly three quarters of second marriages end in divorce. So I prefer to live my life in chapters,” she stated in 2023.

“I have ignored the looking for one person and I have a number of what I’ve called ‘special friends’. They don’t know each other, but they know about it. It’s a very honest relationship,” she said.

“I’ve been married, very happily married, and then suddenly I wasn’t and we had two lovely children and all of that. But I don’t want to be in a relationship because I love my life. And I love my mates and you know, my son and I live together and I don’t have time for it.

“So, I’ve only time for the nice bits. So that’s all I want. And everybody is single and they are all successful in their way and funny and good company and all that. If you do no harm, you can do whatever the hell else you like.”
