First Dates star might be kicked out of UK if I’m A Celeb co-star turns into Prime Minister

The 54-year-old clashed with the Reform leader over Brexit during their time together on I’m a Celeb in 2023 and says days in UK could be numbered

First Dates star Fred Sirieix says he could end up being kicked out of Britain if his ex I’m a Celebrity campmate Nigel Farage becomes PM.

The 54-year-old clashed with the Reform leader over Brexit during their time together on I’m a Celeb in 2023.

The pair argued about the economy and immigration, with Fred saying Farage had ‘damaged the UK economy’ and lied about the impact of immigration.

They squabbled over how much the NHS cost the UK taxpayer, and about ‘demonising’ refugees – but ended up ‘getting on’ and doing camp chores together.

If Reform got into government, Farage has pledged to scrap indefinite leave to remain.

Asked if he was considering becoming a British citizen, he said: “Maybe I will be one day, but I don’t need to be.”

Quizzed what he would do if Reform won a General Election with Farage at the helm, he said: “In this case, if he kicked me out, that’s it.”

John Thompson won the show, with Farage in 3rd place, and Fred being the 5th to leave after spending 17 days in the camp.

Speaking this week, dad-of-two Fred – whose daughter Andrea, 21, won bronze for the UK at the 2024 Olympics in the 10m synchronised diving – said he was not a UK citizen yet.

He said that despite arriving in the UK in 1992 at the age of 20, he was still a French citizen.

He said: “I dream in English, I think in English, I work in English. One of the reasons I came here was because I love English as a language.

“I am very French, but equally sometimes I forget I’m French because I’ve been here since 1992.”
