Ex-Vogue boss Anna Wintour arrived at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in a feathery turquoise ensemble for her highly anticipated Met Gala.

The event is under intense scrutiny amid reports that Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez allegedly shelled out $10 million to co-chair the annual gala alongside Wintour.

Just hours before the red carpet opened, staff found bottles of ‘urine’ inside the museum.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art shared a preview of the ‘Costume Art’ exhibit that inspired tonight’s theme, Fashion is Art.

‘This exhibition explores depictions of the dressed body across The Met’s vast collection, pairing garments with artworks to reveal the relationship between clothing and the body across time and cultures,’ the museum wrote on social media.

The exhibit will open to the public on Sunday.
