Police hunt man who ‘masturbated on prepare in entrance of mum and baby’ as CCTV launched
A CCTV image has been released by British Transport Police after a report was made of man with his hand down his trousers and appearing to masturbate on a train between London Victoria and Horsham
Police have released an image of a person they would like to speak to after a man was reportedly caught masturbating on a train.
The incident reportedly occurred in front of a mother and child on a train in West Sussex on the evening of Wednesday, April 1.
British Transport Police (BTP) said it received a report that a man with his hand down his trousers as it is allegedly he was masturbating.
The report stated the man was seen by a woman and her young daughter as they made their way to the toilet. They were on board a train between London Victoria and Horsham.
Now the BTP have issued an image taken from CCTV that shows a man police would like to speak to in connection with the report,
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police have released an image of a man they’d like to speak to after a man was reported to be masturbating on a train in West Sussex.
“On the evening of Wednesday (April 1), a woman was on a train with her young daughter on a train between London Victoria and Horsham.
“They went to use the toilet when she saw a man who was sat down and looked as if he were asleep. He had his hand down his trousers and appeared to be masturbating.
“Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 758 of 1 April.
“Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
