Bruno Fernandes praise makes attractive reporter’s day as Man Utd ace ‘wins in all places’
Bruno Fernandes made the day of a jaw-dropping reporter with a cheeky compliment as the pair played tennis during an interview
Bruno Fernandes made the day of a stunning reporter while answer questions as the pair played a game of tennis during an interview.
Fernandes, who has been central to Manchester United’s resurgence under Michael Carrick, took some time away from the pitch to discuss the Red Devils’ season with reporter Ellie Collins. And Collins shared some clips from the interview with Fernandes.
Alongside some snaps from the day, Collins joked: “@brunofernandes8 called me Sharapova and I have at least 4 ear witnesses, that’s 10 ears that heard it!” And fans flocked to her comments section to shower praise on the pair.

“My CAPITANO winning everywhere,” one fan joked. While a second replied: “Bro is my captain flirting?”
“That must be tough while playing a rally of tennis,” a third admitted. As a fourth responded: “Too bad he can’t assist in tennis! lol!”
And another added: “My goat pulling everything towards him!”
Fernandes was voted the Red Devils’ Player of the Month for March last week. And the United captain is chasing down the single season assist record.
And he recently admitted he’s desperate to get his hands on silverware again at Old Trafford: “It’s not a question of loyalty,” Fernandes said.
“I could have gone two years ago, I could have gone three years ago, I could have gone last season, but I really like to be here. I think that being successful at this club is something that I can never get at another club.
“The joy and everything I get, the day I get what I want from this club, I don’t think I will get that from any other club in the world. I know how much the fans want this, I know how passionate they are.
“I know how much they are waiting for the club to come back again. I’m on the same ship as them. I want this ship; instead of being steady, I want it to go forward and to navigate as much as we can.
“Yeah, I won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup [but] what this club wants, what these fans want and what I want, myself and the team, we haven’t got that yet. Until my contract expires, I’m going to try.”
