Ryanair passengers dance in aisles ignoring cabin crew on rowdy Ibiza flight

A group of raucous passengers sparked chaos on a Ryanair flight from Newcastle to Ibiza after blasting music through a speaker and dancing in the aisles, reportedly ignoring furious cabin crew

A Ryanair flight turned into a mid-air rave as partying passengers ignored the exasperated cabin crew. Brandon Stephenson, 28, was among a group of revellers getting into the Ibiza spirit early while flying at 30,000ft.

The Hartlepool man encouraged fellow passengers to join in the fun by blasting music from a speaker onboard, much to the annoyance of one crew member. Footage of the airborne antics has since gone viral online, amassing over 250,000 views and 10,500 likes, reports Chronicle Live.

“Everyone on the plane was happy other than one member of the cabin crew who kept shouting at us,” Brandon told creatorzine.com. “But we didn’t listen and just kept partying.

“Normally I am a nervous flyer so this eased my anxiety a lot. The atmosphere was very good, there were even young kids there dancing and singing along with us.”

The area manager for a barbershop chain was travelling from Newcastle upon Tyne to Ibiza on 26 April.

Passengers can be seen standing in the aisles dancing, laughing and drinking while cabin crew attempted to navigate through the plane.

Brandon seemed to spearhead the high-altitude party, being the first to get up and dance before other excited Brits joined in. However, not everyone online was amused.

The 28-year-old revealed he has received “death threats” and abuse since posting the footage on social media. Despite this, Brandon said: “However, all the backlash I have received on my instagram and social media is absolutely hilarious.

“Never knew people were so morbid. I’ve received death threats, abuse and honestly I think it’s absolutely amazing.

“So keep it coming.” The scenes sparked a heated debate among viewers.

One person commented: “Worst flight ever.” Another person chimed in: “May this poverty never find me.”

Conversely, one viewer posted: “My kind of flight this, people on their way to their holiday, enjoying themselves and having a laugh.”

Another person noted: “To be fair this would calm my flight anxiety.”

However, one commenter countered: “So inconsiderate. Feel for the other passengers.”
