Zack Polanski confirms if he dated Wes Streeting after admitting he is ‘made errors’
Green Party leader Zack Polanski has taken to X to confirm whether or not he ever ‘dated’ Labour MP and potential Starmer replacement Wes Streeting, prompting a raucous response online

From married ministers Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper to Jeremy Corbyn and Dianne Abbott’s failed fling, it’s no secret that MPs’ relationships can sometimes go beyond politics.
While the House of Commons is hardly Love Island, the home of the British political class has seen many a successful pairing appear, and we’re sure there’s been just as many unsuccessful dalliances that we’ve not been privy to.
That being said, fans of good old political romance will be disappointed to hear that Green Party frontman and hypnotism enthusiast Zack Polanski has categorically not dated Wes Streeting, at least according to a tweet from the Greens leader.
Responding to a tweet from lawyer Dr Iain Darcy that declared the only thing that could successfully oust him from his job “is if it is revealed he used to date Wes Streeting”, adding that there would be “no coming back from that”, Polanski took to socials to rule out that he and the now former Health Secretary had ever been a thing.
The Greens leader, who is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, responded: “I’ve said I’ve made mistakes and that nobody is perfect, but on this you really don’t have to worry!”.
Streeting has been engaged to his partner Joe Dancey since 2013.
Unsurprisingly, Polanksi’s rebuttal got tongues wagging over on X.
Many took to the platform to agree that news of a cross-party affair would spell trouble for the Greens man leadership, who is currently facing scrutiny for allegedly not paying council tax while living on his houseboat.
“That would be a red line for me, I’m afraid”, wrote one user, while another added “IF that is true then it is Wes I would feel sorry for.”
