Liverpool information: £60m Mo Salah substitute ‘desires switch’ as Reds goal World Cup star
Liverpool are closing in on a busy summer transfer window as Andoni Iraola looks to build his Liverpool team after the key exits of Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate
Following the appointment of Andoni Iraola, Liverpool are displaying little indication of slowing their transfer activity.
Iraola will welcome Jeremy Jacquet this summer, but will undoubtedly desire additional fresh faces to join him after taking over from Arne Slot in the dugout. Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate, and Rhys Williams are all departing Anfield this summer, creating several voids in the squad. Robertson will continue in the Premier League next term following confirmation of his switch to Tottenham in early June.
With Salah bidding farewell to Merseyside after nine years, the wide forward positions are expected to become a priority. Federico Chiesa might also depart this summer, potentially creating room for a least two if not more fresh attacking recruits, in an area the Reds were already lacking last season. Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at the latest news from Anfield.

Barcola ‘wants exit’
Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola is prepared to depart the Parc des Princes this summer, according to talkSPORT.
That’s encouraging news for Liverpool and Arsenal, both of whom have been connected with the French international.
Barcola has witnessed his big match opportunities restricted since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia arrived in Paris in January 2025.
He netted 13 goals in all competitions last season but began from the bench in PSG’s Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and final triumphs.
The 23-year-old won’t be allowed to depart on the cheap and buying clubs could still encounter opposition from Luis Enrique’s outfit.
A transfer fee of around £60m has been suggested for a player who features in France’s World Cup squad.
Rayan on Reds’ radar
Brazil international Rayan is the latest name to be connected with a summer switch to Anfield.
The winger is already familiar to Iraola, having featured under the boss at Bournemouth during the latter half of last season.
According to RTI Esporte, the winger has a £130m release clause at Bournemouth. Whether the Cherries would demand that full amount remains uncertain.
Rayan, 19, managed five goals and two assists across his initial 15 Premier League outings. That proved sufficient to secure him a spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s World Cup squad.
And he netted his maiden senior international goal when Brazil defeated Panama in a warm-up friendly.
