Arsenal information: Morgan Rogers £130m price ticket as switch anticipated with star ‘free to maneuver’
Arsenal are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer as Mikel Arteta looks to build on the club’s Premier League title win, with two key targets in focus
Riding high on the euphoria of ending their 22-year Premier League title drought, Arsenal hope to capitalise in the summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta is keen to keep Arsenal at the pinnacle and is set to receive substantial backing in the transfer market, with the Gunners eyeing bolstering their midfield, left wing, and attack. The Gunners made their first summer signing last week, converting Piero Hincapie’s loan stint from Bayer Leverkusen into a permanent deal worth £34.5million.
The 24-year-old Ecuadorian international is anticipated to be the first of several new faces before Arsenal kick off the 2026-27 season at home against newly-promoted Coventry City on August 21. Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta have reportedly been given a whopping £250m transfer budget. Here’s a look who might soon be making their way to north London.

Bid for Morgan Rogers expected
Securing a new left winger is a top priority for Arsenal this summer, and it’s understood the Gunners are front-runners in the race to sign Morgan Rogers, reports the Mirror.
The Aston Villa forward, who netted 14 goals across all competitions last season and is currently representing England at the World Cup, is also drawing attention from Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea.
However, Arsenal are confident they have the advantage in the chase for Rogers’ services. As per TEAMtalk, the Gunners are ready to fork out the £100m-plus fee that’s likely needed to coax Villa into selling.
But the Telegraph now claim Rogers is valued at a British record £130m by the Europa League winners.
It’s reported Rogers has been swayed by Arteta’s vision for his role in the team, with the Spanish manager seeing the 23-year-old as a clear step up from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, who alternated on the left wing last season.
A significant hurdle remains in the form of Villa, who’ve consistently stated they’ll only let go of one of their star players for a record-breaking fee, exceeding Jack Grealish’s £100m switch to Manchester City in 2021.
Recently addressing rumours linking Rogers to Arsenal, Villa gaffer Unai Emery said: “He has improved massively, he is hungry, humble and still has so much room to grow. My message to Morgan is simple: continue here, continue developing and the future will come naturally.”
Kenan Yildiz‘free to move’
Arteta’s ambitions of beefing up his attacking arsenal have been given a lift following Turkey’s premature World Cup departure.
The group stage exit means Juventus youngster Kenan Yildiz is now available to discuss a potential transfer to north London without any international commitments getting in the way.
The 21-year-old earned the Serie A’s Best Under-23 Player accolade last season, with 10 goals and six assists in 33 league appearances.
Sky Sports, HBO Max, Netflix and Disney+ with Ultimate TV package

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.
Sky broadcasts more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more with at least 215 live from the top flight alongside Formula 1, darts and golf.
These displays have allegedly piqued Arteta’s interest, as the Arsenal boss purportedly views the Turkish sensation as his top target this summer.
Though no official bid has been lodged, the Gunners are said to be willing to splurge heavily to lure Yildiz to the Premier League.
The Italian powerhouses supposedly value Yildiz at approximately €100m (£86m), with Arsenal ready to rival Liverpool and Real Madrid for one of Europe’s most exciting young prospects.
And they’re thought to be willing to sell to ease their financial constraints.
