‘Small however mighty’ transportable fan praised for battery that ‘lasts ages’
‘Great little fan, powerful and keeps you cool on those hot days.’
With another spell of warm weather on the horizon, shoppers are snapping up portable gadgets that promise instant relief from the heat. One handheld fan has become an instant favourite: the Warmco Portable Handheld Fan, currently priced at £25.49 (reduced from £29.99) on Amazon.
Despite its compact size, the Warmco H5 packs plenty of power. Its advanced brushless motor reaches up to 15,000 RPM and produces airflow speeds of up to 9m/s, delivering an instant blast of cooling air that’s said to be ideal for heatwaves, packed trains or stuffy offices.
A built-in 5,000mAh rechargeable battery provides between six and 18 hours of cooling on a single charge, depending on the speed setting. That makes it a practical companion for day trips, camping weekends, festivals or long days out without constantly needing to recharge.

The fan features five adjustable speed settings, allowing users to switch from a gentle breeze to a powerful cooling boost. An LED digital display shows both the remaining battery percentage and current speed setting, making it easy to keep track of power while on the move.
Designed with comfort in mind, the ergonomic handle sits comfortably in the hand during extended use, while the sleek, modern finish gives it a stylish look. Weighing very little and small enough to slip into a handbag, backpack or even a larger pocket, the fan also comes with a handy lanyard for hands-free carrying.
Another option is the Nordara Portable Handheld Turbo Fan for £48.99, down from £96.99, on Debenhams, saving buyers 49% on their purchase. This handheld fan features instant semiconductor cooling technology as well as a battery life of up to 20 hours.

The fan is pocket-sized and delivers instant cooling, making it ideal for summer heatwaves.
M&S then has its USB Travel Fan for £10, coming in five stylish colours. This fan is designed with a flexible hinge so it can be held or stood up on a table for hands-free use.
The Warmco Portable Handheld Fan has garnered high ratings on Amazon, with one five-star review reading: “Great little fan, small but mighty.”
Another continued: “Great little fan, powerful and keeps you cool on those hot days. The battery lasts for ages and charges quickly via usb C.”
A third person wrote: “This has been a lifesaver in London the last few days. The battery life is amazing. Best buy this year! The standard is a great addition too.”
Some did disagree slightly as this longer review said: “Loses a star as it is noisy.” Another added: “Compared to similar handheld fans, I find this fan to be noisy. If set to level 1 or 25, I’d say, it’s OK to use it anywhere.
“At any speed above 25, I would not dare to use it in a cinema or theatre because it’s too noisy. And even on a train or at work, I would not use it at speeds above 50, because it might annoy me and, more importantly, others.”
