Eight gorgeous celebs supporting England at World Cup from Dua Lipa to Alexandra Daddario

England are set to continue their World Cup campaign and several eye-catching celebrities have shown their support for the Three Lions during the football frenzy.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are preparing to face a Lionel Messi-inspired Argentina in their semi-final clash on Wednesday. England reached the last four with a hard-fought win over Norway on Saturday. Jude Bellingham scored his second of the game in extra time to fire the country into the semi-finals for the fourth time in history.

Pop icon Dua Lipa is among a wave of famous faces to show her support for the team as England seek to lift the iconic trophy. The stunning British singer, who has an affinity with both Liverpool and Arsenal fanbases, donned St George’s flag face paint and captioned a social media post: “Across the pond but it’s still [England],” alongside a series of England flag emojis.

Olympic hero Keely Hodgkinson can relate to the England team wanting to win gold for their country. The gold medalist 800m runner struck a stylish pose in her Three Lions shirt, showing her support for the side.

Former Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova was another sporting icon to show support for England against Norway. The American, who recently reached the third round at SW19, attended the game alongside Coco Gauff and made it clear which team she wanted to win by wearing an England shirt, aptly captioning her post: “We’re not at the tennis anymore.”

Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown posted a clip of herself in an England shirt with the message: “Come on.” The Netflix star’s post was soundtracked by Wonderwall, a nod to the team’s unofficial anthem.

Simone Ashley backed the team with her outfit, wearing a white top that read: “It’s coming home.” A reference to the popular song about the Three Lions, the Bridgerton actor was all smiles as she showed her support.

Rochelle Humes was not wearing an England shirt but showed her true colours with coordinated fashion choices. The Saturdays singer and TV host wore a white top, accompanied with a red bag and blue jeans, captioning an Instagram video: “c’mon England!”

US actor Alexandra Daddario was among the fans in Miami Stadium on Saturday. The glamorous Baywatch star wore a red England away top and attempted to leave her corporate seat during the game. In a social media post, she said: “Got kicked out trying to sneak into the stands.”

Christine McGuinness was beaming in her retro England shirt as she posed for pictures on a balcony. The model also wore red shorts and matching trainers, writing on social media: “Come on England!”
