Female lecturers who abused their college students from ‘bare bathe pics’ to ‘truck intercourse’

Sadly, there are many examples of teachers abusing their students. The crimes can range in severity, from inappropriate comments to full sexual abuse. Here, we take a look at some of the worst and most recent of examples.

They include the case of Maris Nichols, a 25-year-old biology teacher at Alexander High School in Douglasville in Georgia, US, who was arrested this May. She has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority.

The female teacher was accused of having sex with the same student twice – once on April 23 inside a school closet and once on May 2 inside a car at the end of a driveway in Douglasville.

After she was arrested in May, a new indictment accused Nichols of propositioning or having sex with six minor students. Three counts in the indictment accuse the former teacher of recording a video with one of her victims. Although some of the offences are not dated, the jury document says they happened between January 1 and May 5.

A search warrant of her house found that the now-former biology teacher operated an adult subscription-based platform where many of her students found her.

Documents obtained by WSB-TV suggest some students who were aware of Nichols’ adult content account allegedly tried to blackmail her, demanding improved grades.

‘Sex in truck with student’

Mackenzie Naught, 25, a former first grade teacher in Washington state, US, this week entered a guilty plea to first degree sexual misconduct with a minor following a “twisted affair” with a teenage student that sparked a criminal probe.

She is alleged to have slept with a 16-year-old student in a truck. Court papers reveal the unlawful encounter took place on May 3, after boy was hesitant, but then “caved” and collected Naught from her house at approximately 2.15am.

While her husband was asleep, Naught allegedly requested the teenager drive her to a “little spot” she was familiar with in rural Harwood Hill.

The duo chatted for a period before she moved in for a kiss and started to “get handsy”, the documents stated. The papers reveal they subsequently had sex inside the motor and on the truck bed.

She was subsequently dismissed from her position at the St John School District. In a plea bargain reached in July, Naught admitted guilt to the first degree charge, an arrangement designed to spare the teenager from having to give evidence at trial.

‘Illicit shower snaps’

Cassidy Carter, who worked at South Dearborn Community School Corporation in Indiana, was recently imprisoned after she confessed to sending explicit photographs of herself to a 14-year-old pupil each time she took a shower. She would send indecent images to the teenager but was exposed when the child revealed the pictures to another member of staff.

Court documents reveal the male student informed a school welfare officer about what had been occurring in December 2023, and they immediately contacted the headteacher who alerted police.

‘Year-long relationship’

Earlier this month, Julie Rizzitello, 36, from New Jersey, US was charged with sexual assault amid allegations she engaged in sexual relations with a pupil.

The disgraced educator stands accused of participating in ‘sexual acts’ with the student on ‘multiple occasions’ across a 12-month period.

She was detained and faces two counts of second-degree sexual assault, three counts of criminal sexual contact and one count of witness tampering. Rizzitello resigned from her position at Wall Township High School and is presently awaiting a detention hearing.

Smiling mugshot

Amanda Katz’s mugshot went viral after she was arrested on suspicion of grooming a 16-year-old student. The former teacher and school administrator at Roswell High School in Georgia, US, is alleged to have planned to run away with the pupil to Mexico.

She stands accused of conducting a relationship with the teenager over several months. Her mugshot was taken on June 2 during the formal booking process after she was apprehended by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

The image, which shows her smiling, has since been widely shared online. The photograph sparked outrage on social media, with one Facebook user commenting: “She’s smiling on the mugshot.”
