Woman useless after ‘husband electrocuted her genitals’ as in-laws go on-the-run

A woman was allegedly electrocuted by her husband as her body, including her private parts, were found covered in electrical burns after the couple had a argument over land

A woman has died after her husband electrocuted her genitals in a horrific attack during an argument about land, it is claimed. The 32-year-old woman, named only as Nasreeen, was left with multiple burns on her body.

A post-mortem report revealed she was electrocuted as her body was covered with burns consistent with an electric shock, including on on her private parts. The horrific incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh, India, on the night of August 14.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Rampur, Anurag Singh has stated: “The post-mortem report shows injuries at six places, including multiple burn injuries caused by electric shock. Electric shock injuries were also found on her private parts.”

Nasreen’s husband, Israr, has allegedly confessed the killing. He is said to have told police he was furious at his wife after she refused to sell land the woman had inherited from her parents.

The couple had been married for 13 years and had five children together, four daughters and one son. Nasreen’s family claimed her husband had repeatedly threatened her with abuse and violence over the land row, local media reported.

Family members added Israr threatened to kill her if she didn’t comply with his demands. Nasreen’s sister, Haseen Jahan, stated before her death Nasreen suffered injuries prior to the alleged electrocution. However Nasreen had hid her injuries from her family.

Jahan stated: “She came home perfectly fine, but there were injuries on her face.” Jahan added Nasreen had not disclosed what had happened to her during the previous incident. Additional Superintendent of Police, Anurag Singh, stated a complaint has been registered by Nasreen’s uncle to start criminal proceeding against Nasreen’s husband.

The family member has accused Nasreen’s in-laws of also being involved in his niece’s death. The complaint was launched against Israr, his father Hanif, sisters Babbo and Rafat, and brothers-in-law Istekar and Noor Alam.

Israr has been arrested and is currently in police custody. The rest of the family members included in the complaint are currently at large after going on the run.

The development comes after an influencer was shot dead by her husband in a murder-suicide weeks after she claimed he was a paedophile on social media. Sara Gilson, 43, and Jeremiah “Shawn” Duffey 48, were found dead in her home after suffering gunshot wounds to the head on July 23.

Weeks before the fatal shooting in Owasso, Oklahoma, Gilson posted a video to social media claiming her husband was a paedophile on TikTok. The video was part of the current Netflix documentary trend, popular across social media sites.
