An Egyptian football boss reportedly fainted as his “two wives” became embroiled in a furious hotel brawl. The bust-up is said to have erupted at the café of a hotel in Porto Marina, Egypt, on Friday (August 14).
Hossam Hassan’s wife, Dan Adam, and Huwayda El-Gharbawy, described by local media as his “first wife”, were reportedly involved in the row. Several of their children are also said to have become embroiled in the clash.
Footage circulating online appears to show several people grappling or desperately trying to break up the fight as women can be heard screaming.

Hassan was reportedly holidaying with Adam after leading Egypt to the last 16 for the first time in their World Cup history.
It is unclear why El-Gharbawy was at the hotel or whether she was also staying there. Adam later claimed two of El-Gharbawy’s children approached her from behind and attacked her, pulling her hair before turning on her children.
She alleged El-Gharbawy then appeared and threw a cup of hot coffee at her face, as reported by NeedToKnow.

However, a source close to Hassan’s family gave a conflicting account, claiming Adam was the one who initially attacked El-Gharbawy and her daughter.
Several people reportedly stepped in as the confrontation escalated, while other hotel guests reacted in panic. Hassan, 59, was said to have been present during the chaos.
Multiple reports claim the Egypt boss fainted and collapsed as the fight unfolded. Some reports also suggested he was taken for medical attention, although this has not been confirmed.
Following the confrontation, El-Gharbawy reportedly filed a police complaint before later withdrawing it after the parties reconciled.
Hassan married Adam, whose real name is Dina Mostafa, in 2015 and the couple have two children together, according to local reports.
But there are conflicting accounts over the history of Hassan’s relationship with El-Gharbawy, who is reported to have four children with him.
Some reports claim the pair divorced in 2018. However, more recent coverage has continued to describe El-Gharbawy as his first wife and claims their divorce was only completed following Friday’s dispute.
Under Egyptian law, a Muslim man can have up to four wives at the same time. He does not need permission from an existing wife or a court to marry again, although he must declare his marital status and existing wives must be notified of a new marriage.
