Mystery surrounds the whereabouts of Sarah Ferguson, after reports of a trip to Portugal were denied. Following the arrival of her fifth grandchild earlier this month, it was extensively reported that Sarah Ferguson had flown to Portugal to be with her daughter, Princess Eugenie.

However, according to the Daily Express, this isn’t accurate – and Ms Ferguson hasn’t departed her undisclosed residence for several months. The former Duchess of York was last snapped in April at an upmarket ski resort in the Austrian Alps.

While it stays unverified whether she remains at that location, sources confirm she hasn’t journeyed to Lisbon, where her latest granddaughter, Adelaide Brooksbank, arrived on August 3. Ms Ferguson has maintained a discreet presence following harmful new revelations concerning her links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She has consistently refuted any misconduct.

It was recently claimed that Ms Ferguson had travelled to the nation to meet Adelaide, and enjoy time with her grandsons, August, 5, and Ernest Brooksbank, 3.

The Brooksbank clan currently divides their time between the UK and Portugal, as Jack collaborates with property magnate Mike Meldman on an exclusive coastal project, the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, reports the Express.

Posting a fresh photo of her daughter, Eugenie penned: “Two weeks ago today we welcomed our girl to the world. And since then we’ve had the most special, cosy and love-filled time.

“We are so happy to share Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her great-grandmother who we hold close in our hearts. Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home. Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers.”

When Eugenie revealed the birth on August 4, she posted a photograph of the baby in a pink babygrow grasping Jack’s finger. She wrote: “Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank! ! We are beyond in love with our girlie.”
