Urgent, naughty stuff
Back in May, I had one-off sex with an old school friend.
It was fantastic. Really urgent and naughty. The stuff of dreams.
Three weeks later she married her long-term partner. I know her new husband. He works in the same industry as me. I’m worried he’s going to find out about her 11th hour bonk with me.
My sister also knows my one-time lover from school and has just told me that she is pregnant. I am terrified. What if I’m the father? What if the kid comes out looking like me?
What should I do next?
JANE SAYS: Calm down and see what happens. There’s no point in worrying unnecessarily.
There’s every chance that if your friend has been having regular sex with her new husband – both before the wedding and after it – that the baby is his.
Has she asked you to do anything or keep quiet? In an ideal world she should tell her husband about her pre-wedding fling to clear the air so that there aren’t any secrets between them, but we don’t live in an ideal world…
If the child does turn out to be yours and everything comes out as a result of a DNA test, then you’ll need to rise to the occasion and do whatever is right for the child.
Celebrity crushes
I keep becoming obsessed with famous guys. Not in a sexual way. I spot a guy on TV or in a film and get transfixed, I look him up on-line and imagine being his best mate. I picture us going for drinks and having a laugh.
More than once I’ve ‘outed’ myself with my real mates by knowing too much about certain celebs. I’ve been laughed at.
I’m a straight guy. I enjoy a great sex life with my girlfriend and have had loads of female lovers over the years (no males). I am so ashamed of myself for getting these crushes.
JANE SAYS: I’m sure that plenty of your friends worship football players and rock stars, that doesn’t make them wrong either. Why should you be ashamed of being stunned by talent and success?
You know you’re not homosexual. You’re in a straight relationship with your current partner and have never felt the urge to be with a man.
As you say yourself, you don’t even fancy your ‘man crushes’; you simply become dazzled by their charisma, celebrity and fame. Also, so what if you ARE gay, or have bi-sexual feelings?
You’re an individual living in a free society. What’s wrong with a little daydream once in a while? You’re not hurting anyone. Enjoy your life and keep being true to yourself.
