With autumn just around the corner, pet owners will know all too well that the wet weather leads to muddy walks, sodden paws and yet more dirty floors to clean. But Amazon shoppers think they have found just the thing to take the hard work out of cleaning – and it’s been reduced by £32.
The AirCraft Home PowerGlide is a cordless hard floor cleaner and polisher designed to make tackling everyday messes a little less of a chore. The cordless design makes it easier to use all around the home without having to stop and find another plug socket.
The 2-in-1 gadget can clean and polish a range of hard surfaces including laminate, wood, tiles, LVT, vinyl, marble, granite and natural stone. Right now, the handy floor cleaner is on sale for £177.65, a saving of 15% on the usual price of £209.

Hailed as ‘the best floor cleaner I’ve ever bought’ by one happy Amazon shopper, the PowerGlide is described as being ‘easy to use.’ Simply fill its 330ml tank with water or cleaning solution, then use the controls on the handle to spray liquid as needed while the twin pads rotate in opposite directions.
Particularly handy for pet owners the machine can clean up to 20 square metres per minute and can reach right up to the edges. It also comes with built-in LED lights are designed to make it easier to spot any dirt lurking beneath sofas, tables and sideboards.

Pets owners are praising the powerful 2-in-1 floor cleaner and polisher buffer machine that can be used on laminate and hard floors.
Designed to be portable, the floor cleaner weighs 3.2kg and has an adjustable handle for added comfort. According to Amazon, the rechargeable battery gives up to 40 minutes of cleaning time and takes around two hours to recharge.
Not just a handy tool for cleaning grubby floors, the PowerGlide can also be used as a polisher by swapping the cleaning pads for the washable polishing pads. When not in use, the machine folds down for storage and is self-standing.

The package comes with four washable microfibre cleaning pads and two scrubbing pads. It’s also Quiet Mark certified, with a noise rating of under 60dB.
Alternatively, the H20 Dual Buff Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner is currently available at Argos for £150. Also offering to ‘scrub, buffs and polish hard floors without the hassle of a mop and bucket’ this model has very few reviews so far, but is available for collection at selected Argos stores.
For pet owners with deeper pockets, the Dyson Pencilwash wet cleaner currently has £90 off, reduced to £209 on the Dyson website. Hailed for it’s uber lightweight design, the upscale mop can bend and flex to fit under and around furniture.
Elsewhere at Dunelm, the Dunelm Steam Mop is a simpler alternative for cleaning hard floors using steam rather than the powered scrubbing. At £38, it’s a corded cleaner that comes highly rated by shoppers.

Shoppers who have already snapped up the AirCraft Home PowerGlide have given it an impressive 4.5 out of five-star rating. One buyer said: Love this mop. I have 3 dogs and just put down a brand new light grey wooden floor. Even with cleaning with a manual mob several times a day to remove muddy paws, after some month in my lovely grey floor turned into a slight beige brown laminate.
“I can now with minimal effort maintain the tidiness of my floor. I even enjoy cleaning the floor now! It takes minimum effort to move the mop as it does all the hard scrubbing work.”
Another called it ‘brilliant’ adding: “Love it we have numerous rescue dogs and cats my old aircraft eventually gave up so this is a renewal updated version. It’s quick and easy to keep the floors clean and fresh. Battery lasts at least a week and the pads are great for cleaning my vinyl flooring.”
A third said it “takes all the hard work out of cleaning floors.” The review goes on to say: “We have LVT fitted in the kitchen and the scouring pads are great for the high volume walkway areas. We also use it for our hall and bathroom tiled floors. Best of all it’s great for our solid wood floor. We use a bees wax polish and this makes polishing so easy.”
Some buyers felt it is a little pricey, even with the discount, and one noted: “(It) smears the floor with circles where it has cleaned and it polished. Disappointed as it wasn’t cheap.”
But most reviews were positive, with another exclaiming: “Well made, sturdy but light, very easy to handle, good quality pads. I have used it on tiles, vinyl and wood floors and it is fantastic! I have one dog and young grandchildren so it has a bit of a workout in the kitchen. Wish I’d purchased sooner. Perfect”
