Eugenie Bouchard has added a new title to her trophy cabinet after being dubbed ‘Queen of New York City’.

The retired tennis pro is in the Big Apple as part of the ESPN commentary crew for the final Grand Slam of 2026, the US Open. However, the Canadian has been turning heads away from the court with a dazzling new update from Flushing Meadows.

Bouchard, 32, hung up her racquet last year and has since made a successful transition into the world of broadcasting. She debuted for the BBC earlier this year at Wimbledon, where she reached the women’s singles final back in 2014.

Media bosses clearly like what they’ve seen from the beautiful blonde given she was recruited to work at another major this month. And it’s not only Bouchard’s pristine punditry that has been grabbing attention stateside.

Her latest Instagram upload to 2.2million followers showed Bouchard flexing her work fit at Arthur Ashe Stadium. And fans were soon fawning as she sat posed courtside in an effortless white blouse and brown skirt combo, topped off with a Birkin bag, which generally cost anywhere upwards of £10,000.

“The Queen of New York City,” exclaimed one admirer in the comments section. Another subscriber referred to the former Grand Slam contender as an “absolute beauty.”

Former tennis hopeful turned influencer Rachel Stuhlmann joined in the praise with a series of heart-eye emojis to compliment her colleague.

That’s in addition to a flood of other adulations, many of which called Bouchard “wonderful” and even “perfection.”

Bouchard is back to business after taking a summer vacation in Italy. While holidaying in Europe, the new BBC addition made sure to update her legion of followers when she took a bikini-clad break on a boat.

Rightfully revelling in the fruits of her labour on the court, Bouchard is arguably even more popular among fans in retirement. Once named one of the most marketable athletes in the world, she continues to draw widespread attention online without the need to compete.

Bouchard also poked fun during Carlos Alcaraz’s recent win over Roman Safiullin when he had a wardrobe malfunction. The nip slip hasn’t upset the Spaniard’s momentum, however, as he sailed into the third round with a follow-up win over Portugal’s Jaime Faria.
