Ibiza Final Boss reveals darkish aspect of fame as he considers ‘going off the map’
The Ibiza Final Boss still gets stopped for selfies up to 15 times a day after going viral for his clubbing antics.
Jack Kay, 26, also admitted he has felt a constant pressure to remain “relevant” and stay “on the map” since shooting to online fame last year. But nothing will stop him from his “mission”, he added.
He became an internet sensation when footage of his bob haircut and confident swagger on a dancefloor in the party island began circulating on the internet. The Geordie raver has remained in the public eye ever since with a string of TV appearances and celebrity boxing bouts.

He said he can hardly leave the house without getting recognised for his unique look. The party animal told the Daily Star: “Wherever I go, I get stopped. I get stopped at least — not even joking — probably like 10, 15 times a day. People coming over asking for pictures.”
While most interactions are positive, he does get the odd muppet looking to make his life difficult. The club fanatic said: “Most people are nice and positive although you may get the odd idiot”.
But he said he has learnt to rise above it, adding: “You just brush them off. Words are words, man. It doesn’t really bother us, to be fair. At the end of the day, I’m on a mission and that’s what comes.

“Whatever will be, will be. That’s one thing I’ve learned. Don’t stress. I just laugh at all the negative comments. I only care about the people around us. I’m not really bothered about some little low-life comment.”
He admitted that there are downsides to his newfound fame and “it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows”. The nightlife lover said: “People think this game is all good things, but it’s not. You get your other side to it as well.
“Sometimes you just feel like you’ve got to keep it up and stuff. Your own normal life things get in the way and you’ve got to keep things on, you’ve got to balance it. It gets hard, but you’ve just got to power through, I suppose.

“You’ve got to be obviously relevant as well. You can’t just go off the map.”
