Horny blokes turning to ‘harmful AI mannequin’ dubbed ‘intercourse doll that pretends to like you’

SxxxAI is a new ‘dating’ platform which was launched last Wednesday and offers its male users the chance to find love with a scantily clad AI model which says it ‘loves you’

Sex-starved blokes unlucky in the dating scene are turning to “dangerous” AI models in an attempt to find love. And newly-launched platform SxxxAI encourages its users to create a beau who acts however they want.

They are able to control every aspect of the relationship – from deciding on the story of their made-up meeting, to what the girlfriend does in the virtual bedroom.

The website launched on Wednesday and requires age verification for users to enter, like many pornography platforms reportedly do. “Your perfect companion doesn’t exist yet,” reads a message on the site, which allows people to create an AI lover for free.

According to the New York Post, paid subscribers can chat to their digital squeeze and receive videos and images which range from 70p to £70 per month.

With the “elite subscription” for £70 a month, users can make up to 50 “girlfriends” with 3,000 credits to play with. If the blokes can’t be bothered to forge their own fictitious fantasies, SxxxAI has around 100 AI women ready to go.

These include ‘Sophia Reynold’, a 24-year-old who has “captivating blue eyes” and ‘Noor Kagan’, 26, from Saudi Arabia and who is “breaking free from cultural constraints”.

“If someone can create a companion specifically around everything they find attractive and then speak to her every day, build memories with her and create an ongoing story together, that relationship can become much more immersive than simply generating an AI image,” a SxxxAi spokesperson wrote in a statement.

The new platform has drawn criticism from relationship experts who claim the website is set to destroy the way men view women.

“SxxxAi is basically the modern-day blow-up doll, except now it talks back, tells you what you want to hear and pretends to love you,” psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert said.

“I would worry about a young guy who spends a lot of time in that world … If you get used to a ‘girlfriend’ who is literally built to please you, what happens when you have to deal with a real person?”

Speaking to the Daily Star last year about the epidemic of lonely blokes getting AI girlfriends, Silicon Valley matchmaker Nichi Hodgson said modern men are too lazy to “bother with the real thing”.

Hodgson said: “It’s because a lot of men just don’t know how to talk to women anymore. You can create your own ‘perfect’ woman online, so most lazy blokes just can’t be bothered with the real thing.

“The technology is new but the behaviour from men isn’t. I find it depressing that these fake girlfriends are so two-dimensional.” Hodgson – who published a book called The History of Curious Dating – claimed that plenty of men just want “glorified dolls”.

“I’m disappointed in men’s lack of imagination,” she added. “Men don’t want a challenge anymore – it’s just like they are picking from a menu.”
