She also showed off her stunning body in a see-through mesh outfit over the top of her bikini, and another all-white outfit where she flaunted her washboard abs.
Alica’s fellow Olympic competitor and friend Hodgkinson, 24, took to the comments section, where she posted two love heart eye emojis, which Alica replied to with a smitten love heart face emoji.
German marathon runner Maike Lea also lauded her looks, saying: “LIEBS,” which translates to dear in English. Compatriot and fellow runner Laura Muller also replied with a heart emoji.
Her other fans took to the comments to swoon over her looks, with one user calling her: “Absolutely beautiful”, while a second echoed: “So beautiful.” As a third wrote: “You look so pretty.”
A fourth said: “Perfect and elegant,” a fifth added: “Knew you a goddess all along.” And another said: “Ohh just wow.”
Schmidt is one of Germany’s star runners in the 400 and 800 metres and participated in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris with the German relay team.
She also competes for SC Charlottenburg and won bronze at the 2019 U23 European Championships.
The runner has previously spoken about how social media has played an important role in her career and helped her earn more sponsors.
“It’s good for all of us athletes to be active on social media in order to get sponsors,” she said.
“It’s not easy, especially in Germany to live from athletics. So a lot of athletes have to do another job to live from that and do the training. And yeah that’s a great thing to do a social media on the side so you can get some more sponsors.
“It’s a big hobby of mine and I love to do that. But the main focus is sports.”
