A cartel hitman has chillingly claimed to have burnt the bodies of 250 murdered victims at the infamous Rancho Izaguirre in Jalisco, Mexico. The unnamed ‘sicario’, who spoke anonymously to Italian news outlet TG1, admitted that “more than 500 people were executed” at the site, which has been described by experts as a “concentration camp” used by the Jalisco New Generation gang (CJNG).

He also warned that if people keep looking more bodies will be discovered – although many victims were so badly burnt that identifying them could be impossible, while others will simply “never be found”.

The twisted killer claimed: “More than 500 people were executed. I personally burned 250 people. There are always teeth left and bits of bone.”

The cartel member claimed that, at its worse, the horrifying Rancho Izaguirre has seen the cartel execute as many as “20 people in one night.”

The self-described “hitman” said he had been working under the orders of the terrifying CNJG, explaining that he would be paid 4000 pesos or £160 per kill, adding that “a life isn’t worth much” to his villainous employers.

The unnamed gang member even alleged that, if asked, he would be be able to kill again “tomorrow”, explaining that he owns a “rifle with a telescopic sight” and that “everything is ready”.

He said: ““A hitman who works for the cartel always earns the same salary. I can kill up to five people in a day and my pay remains the same. Four thousand pesos.”

Despite this, he added that he is trying to make amends by helping activists and family members search for their missing loved ones, but is forced to do so in secret or else face the wrath of the cartel.

Rancho Izaguirre first made headlines back in 2025, after an anonymous tip led to investigators finding hundreds of discarded shoes, items of clothing and even children’s toys inside an apparently ordinary looking Mexican ranch.

These discoveries were followed by numerous bone fragments being found as well as three crematoriums, leading to activists to claim the site had been used to butcher hundreds of cartel victims.

While Mexican officials have only confirmed that the ranch was used as a ‘training’ facility, many with knowledge of the site have suggested that many of the trainees taken to Rancho Izaguirre were tortured and killed for breaking rules and to send a message to others.

Activists allege that many of those who spent time at the ranch were taken there against their will, or tricked using bogus contracts and promises.

Mexican officials have not confirmed the deaths of any individuals at the site.
