How Gwyneth Paltrow is turning into the final word momager for Apple, 21, and Moses, 19, after years of insisting they be saved out of the highlight

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin kept their children private and out of the spotlight when they were young, in a bid to ‘keep them grounded’.
However, it seems the lure of Hollywood has been too strong for Apple, 21, and Moses, 19, who are now attempting to launch careers in the same industry.
Having grown up with an Oscar-winning actress mother and Coldplay frontman father, it’s no wonder the pair look set to follow in the footsteps of their parents.
And just this week, Gwyneth pulled a momager move when she thrust her children into the spotlight as they attended the premiere of her new movie Marty Supreme.
While last week she hit another red carpet event with her son in tow.
The Goop founder has also been working hard to abolish the stigma of the ‘nepo baby‘ label, saying the children of celebrities often need to work ‘twice as hard’ because of the surname they hold.

She said in 2022: ‘As the child of someone, you get access other people don’t have, so the playing field is not level in that way.
‘However, I really do feel that once your foot is in the door, which you unfairly got in, then you almost have to work twice as hard and be twice as good.
‘Because people are ready to pull you down and say “You don’t belong there or you are only there because of your dad or your mum”.’
She added in another interview: ‘There’s this whole nepo baby culture, and there’s this judgement that exists around kids of famous people.
‘But there’s nothing wrong with doing or wanting to do what your parents do.’
Just like her children, Gwyneth followed in the footsteps of her award-winning mother, Blythe Danner, 82, and director father Bruce, who died in 2002.
Yet Gwyneth hasn’t always favoured her children being in the spotlight and in front of a camera.
Asked by Jimmy Kimmel if her children like being famous back in 2017, Gwyneth said: ‘They’re pretty normal. We’re trying to keep them out of the public.’

Now Moses is following in his Coldplay star father’s footprints, as part of a three-piece band called Dancer.
Over the summer he gave fans a glimpse of life on tour as he took to social media to post a carousel of images taken while on the road with the musical act.
The upload included shots of him playing guitar with a microphone set in front of him, and an artsy black and white snap of the band standing in front of a brick wall.
He captioned the post, ‘music music music music,’ and tagged @dancerdancerdancer.
Meanwhile, Apple has set her sights on the modelling and musical world.
She recently released a new music video after her debut was slammed as an ‘off-key drunken karaoke performance.’
Apple dropped the visuals for the single Satellites in collaboration with indie rock duo Jade Street – comprising of Eli Meyuhas and Zachary Zwelling.
Coldplay has scored seven Grammy Awards and nine Brit Awards and sold more than 160 million records worldwide, while her mother has also previously shown musical prowess, singing in films Duets, Country Strong, and Infamous.
It comes as Apple repeatedly faced claims she’s just riding her parents’ coattails after joining her mother Gwyneth for a campaign with GapStudio earlier this year.
She then went on to land yet another high-profile fashion gig, this time posing for her debut shoot with the London fashion house Self-Portrait.

The model posed for images captured by acclaimed photographer Ryan McGinley on a farm in upstate New York, despite previously facing backlash for using her privileged background and connections to her advantage.
Styled by Mel Ottenberg, Apple wore pieces from the brand’s latest ready-to-wear collection, including a white lace and satin maxi dress and a silver gradient sequinned dress.
The stunner, who is also studying at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, posed for her first collection after being unveiled as an ambassador for the brand.
She said: ‘Debuting with self-portrait was a no-brainer – their British spirit reminds me of growing up in London, so it’s felt like home from the start.
‘Plus, the collections are gorge and approachable! Han and the team welcomed me in as part of the creative process and I am having a lot of fun learning along the way.
‘I’m so excited for this campaign to be out in the world and for us to continue exploring this side of my creativity together.’
Speaking about the special bond she shares with her children, she said: ‘It’s so wonderful having a daughter because you have this amazing best friend and we like to do the same stuff, she’s so funny, so smart, it’s amazing.
‘I’m in awe of the women she is become, with all of her points of view, that are all differentiated, she’s really strong.’
Just like her children, Gwyneth followed in the footsteps of her award-winning mother, Blythe Danner and director father Bruce (pictured all together with brother Bruce in 1996)
‘There is a real mother-son dynamic that is so delicious and so special, he is such a thoughtful person. We kind of bond of music and we like to sit and talk, he likes to go deep’, she spoke of Moses.
She added: ‘They are both intrigued by fashion, they love it in art form and freedom of expression. My son, it’s how he tells the world who he is through his cool style.’
She told People: ‘I have been so lucky with my teens, probably when Apple was 13 we had a year where we was like “Oh wow, okay”.
‘But I kind of didn’t have the horrible teen thing because I’ve always been very, very honest and empowered them with a little bit more freedom and responsibility than they thought they were ready for so they treated it with reverence.
‘I said I don’t need to give you a curfew unless you give me a reason to give you a curfew. They are responsible and they’ve never done anything too crazy and I love really loved having teenagers.’
