Mum with UK’s largest boobs hoping for ‘thrilling’ Xmas regardless of dealing with agony every single day
EXCLUSIVE: Melissa Ashcroft, 30, has struggled with excruciating back pain for years because of her 36M breasts but has recently revealed the few things that keep her happy
The mum with the largest boobs in Britain has shared her tips on having the best Christmas ever. Melissa Ashcroft has size 36M breasts and is raising money to get reduction surgery after the NHS refused her treatment because of her BMI.
Melissa, 30, often starts her day in excruciating agony because of the back pain her breasts cause her. It sometimes takes her over an hour just to get out of bed.“I’m not able to do normal things, like being able to go to the gym or picking up my daughter. And the worst thing? I just feel fat,” the mum-of-three told the Daily Star.
Always looking on the bright side, Melissa told us she is staying focused on her goal of raising the £13,000 needed for a private breast reduction surgery. And it’s her three kids that are helping her do just that.
She said: “It’s the kids – they keep me happy and upbeat. My daughter makes me laugh so much, she’s got such a lovely personality already at 9 months. I know it’s rubbish now, but I’m going to get there. Life doesn’t end.”
The Scotland-based mum added she is “super excited” about the upcoming festive holidays because she recently gained custody of her step-son, and will get to spend her first Christmas with him.
She said: “Well, we get full custody of my stepson on December 20, so it will be our first Christmas with him. And it’ll be our first Christmas with our daughter because she’s only nine months.
“I’m super excited, it’s just going to be a super close family get together in Scotland. I’m really looking forward to it.
“My stepson is five, and my oldest is seven. They are so excited about Christmas. It’s really all about the kids.”
Melissa believes she’s among those with the biggest breasts in Britain – yet she can’t even stretch to the £82 custom-made bra designed for her size.
This forces her to cram her chest into a much smaller – and more affordable – £20 undergarment.
She added: “There’s only one place I can buy bras from and it’s this online-only place in America. But they are priced between £80 and £110.”
Before adolescence hit with devastating force, Melissa endured cruel taunts at school for having a flat chest.
“One minute I was getting bullied for having a flat chest, then I’d get bullied saying I had tea towels down my bra. It wasn’t nice at school – it was everyday”.
