Mr and Mrs Claus caught rushing as cops declare they have been ‘flying too quick’

Santa Claus landed himself on the naughty list after Ohio police pulled over a speeding Ford Escape and found St. Nick and Mrs. Claus behind the wheel, bodycam footage shows

Santa Claus found himself on the naughty list a bit early this year after police pulled him over. Thankfully, no coal was issued.

Even the fastest sleighs need to obey the speed limit. Especially if millions of little children depend on that specific sleigh.

A police officer pulled over a car for speeding, only to discover St. Nick and Mrs. Claus behind the wheel. Santa was allegedly caught speeding in a Ford Escape.

Bodycam video, which was posted on the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office’s official Facebook page, shows the incident happened around 5:44 p.m. on Saturday, December 20 in Fulton County, Ohio, USA.

“It’s flying a little fast, you Santas need to slow down too,” the sheriff is filmed saying to Santa. As Santa and Mrs. Claus were pulled aside, the man behind the white beard revealed that his daughter had asked him to “come up and do santa”.

The police and officer went on to joke about Santa’s age; “100 something years old.” The man exchanged more jolly banter before parting ways and wishing each other a Merry Christmas.

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office wrote on its official Facebook: “Ho ho *hold on!*

“Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted flying a little too fast through Fulton County.

“No coal was issued, just a friendly reminder that even sleighs need to slow down.

“Christmas is still on schedule! Stay safe and happy holidays!”

The video sparked amusement, as a Facebook user commented: “If my presents are late getting here I blame Deputy Grinch.”

A person wrote: “Stay safe Santa!

“There is a lot to do in the next couple days!” Someone else penned: “Thank you for keeping Santa & Mrs. Claus safe…”
