Former World No.1 Ana Ivanovic has stunned fans with a sultry Christmas morning photoshoot by her fireplace in the wake of her reported divorce from footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The former tennis player posted a series of images on social media showing how she celebrated Christmas in Serbia, following her split from the Manchester United icon.
She shared several photographs in which she posed indoors wearing a thick roll neck jumper, socks and very short shorts. The images were accompanied by a short caption that read: “Christmas mornings”.
Her slim and trained legs were prominent in the photos, with muscle definition clearly visible. In other pictures, she is seen posing in a sequined black dress next to a Christmas tree and holding a wrapped present.
The posts quickly attracted widespread attention online. Reports said she has recently submitted divorce papers and is now in the process of formally ending her marriage.
Schweinsteiger also marked the holiday separately by posting a festive message to his followers. Ana Ivanovic has not publicly commented on the divorce and has rarely spoken about her marriage.
The pair met in 2014 when they were introduced by a mutual friend, former Basketball player Steffen Hemman, in New York.
Speaking about the meeting, the German admitted: “I wasn’t that good at English when we met so I listened to Ana a lot in the beginning. I was a bit on the defensive and saw what was coming.
“It was love at first sight. You feel special moments and you can recognise them when you look deeply into someone’s eyes – that’s exactly how it was with me.”
In a previous interview, she said her former husband did not always understand her approach to organisation and daily routines, explaining that they differed in how they structured their time.
Comments beneath her Christmas post praised her appearance, with one follower writing: “Beautiful.” Another said: “As always the most beautiful,” while a third added, “Goddess.”
Others focused on the festive moment, with one message reading: “Ana congratulations to you and your three boys I hope you have a lovely Christmas.”
