A former Premier League striker’s ex-girlfriend once posed for Playboy at the age of 62 as she defied her years.
TV presenter and journalist Ana Obregon was famed for dating former Arsenal and West Ham star Davor Suker, who turned 58 on Thursday. But she sure became renowned for her artistic work when she became the icon of the revamped Playboy.
Ana was in a relationship with Suker for two years when he played for Real Madrid before moving to the Premier League. But the footballer remained close to her heart as she previously posted a picture of the Croatian star on a previous birthday.
And it wouldn’t be a surprise if she was still on Suker’s mind when she posed in a daring black suit, held together by a tiny piece of string, for the front cover of the magazine.
Ana proudly posted a picture of the cover on her Instagram, adding the caption, as translated: “It’s an honour for me to grace the first cover and back cover of the legendary Playboy magazine in Spain with the summer photoshoot.
“It’s a privilege to share the cover with icons like Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss, Kim Basinger, and others. Thank you for choosing me!
“There were other beautiful, younger, and much more spectacular women, but you chose a woman with a long and successful career, a university degree, and above all, a mother. So summer arrived a month early!!!
Lourdes Marcos, the magazine’s commercial director, explained the risky move behind choosing Ana to outlet Vanitatis. “She has been an erotic icon in Spain and has also been very successful professionally. Let’s not forget that series like ‘Ana y los siete’ had an impressive impact and still do in Latin American countries, where it airs.

Now 70 years old, Ana’s life has not been short of controversy. In 2023, she became the grandmother of a girl by surrogacy fathered by her dead son, who tragically died from cancer at the age of 27, and the ovum of a donor.
He had preserved samples of his sperm before beginning cancer treatment, and Ana refers to the girl as her granddaughter.
