Renee Good capturing quietly sparks new ICE restriction as Donald Trump panics

Just hours after mum-of-three Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE officer, one of Trump’s wingwomen quietly made a restriction to protect the controversial agency

The US government quietly brought in a new restriction to protect ICE just a day after an agent shot Renee Good three times in the head.

Huge outcry has been sparked across the US and the world after horrifying footage showed US immigration agent Jonathan Ross killing the 37-year-old after she tried to drive away during a confrontation, in Minneapolis. The Trump administration has shamelessly thrown its support behind the shooting agent while dubbing the mum-of-three a “domestic terrorist” and the incident as a “tragedy of her own making”.

While the bashing of the victim and protesters was done by the White House in public, it privately made an important change that could help ICE.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem introduced a new measure on Thursday that forces lawmakers to ask for a whole week’s notice before they are allowed to visit ICE facilities.

This new policy has added a seven-day period which would restrict any last minute or drop-in congressional visits. Although this odd change was brought in on Thursday, just hours after Ms Good was killed, it was revealed publicly on Saturday, according to Politico.

The Trump clan’s restriction was only shared after three Democrats, from the House of Representatives, attempted to entre an ICE detention centre, in Minnesota, but they were denied access.

This restriction was revealed in court after Congresspeople Ilhan Omar, Angie Craig and Kelly Morrison were pushed away by the controversial immigration agency, and said they did not know about the new order before visiting the site.

Omar, on X, wrote: “The public deserves to know what is taking place in ICE facilities.” A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, according to Politico, accused the Reps of leading protestors to the immigration centre “with the explicit goal of ‘hunting down’ ICE officers who they believed may have been staying there”.

The spokesperson added: “For the safety of detainees and staff, and in compliance with the agency’s mandate, the Members of Congress were notified that their visit was improper and out of compliance with existing court orders and policies which mandate that members of Congress must notify ICE at least seven days in advance of Congressional visits.”

This comes after shocking bodycam footage from Ross revealed a new angle to the fatal shooting, on Friday. Trump, JD Vance and other MAGA politicians claimed the mum had turned her wheels to run over the officer, but his own bodycam put those claims into question.

This footage even caught the woman calmly and kindly saying to the officer: “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.” Ross on the other hand was heard calling her a “f***ing b**ch” after he shot her three times.
