Patriots given enormous damage enhance with Mack Hollins set to return for playoff showdown in opposition to Broncos
The New England Patriots have activated wide receiver Mack Hollins from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Denver Broncos.
Hollins has been battling an abdominal injury that ruled him out of New England’s past four games.
The Patriots head to Denver on Sunday knowing victory would secure them a place at Super Bowl LX.
Hollins, 32, joined New England ahead of the 2025 season following spells with the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.
Before hurting his abdomen, the veteran led all Patriots wide receivers in snaps over the first 16 weeks of the campaign.
And, across the entire regular season, only Stefon Diggs and tight end Hunter Henry were targeted more by quarterback Drake Maye.

Hollins amassed 550 yards and two touchdowns before suffering the injury against the Ravens. His blocking, meanwhile, serves as a key weapon for the Patriots run game.
New England has also elevated running back D’Ernest Johnson and defensive tackle Leonard Taylor III from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
On Friday, however, it emerged that linebacker Harold Landry had been ruled out of Sunday’s clash due to a knee injury.
Landry led Mike Vrabel’s team in sacks during the regular season with 8.5 but, unfortunately for New England fans, he will not have an opportunity to add to that tally in Denver.
