Beatrice and Eugenie ‘aghast’ by Epstein claims ‘however have not given up’ on dad Andrew but

The princesses are said to not be turning their back on their disgraced parents Andrew and Sarah despite their family dynamic being strained due to bombshell revelations from the latest Epstein files

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s daughters have “not given up” on their dad despite more bombshell allegations relating to his friendship with paedo financier Jeffrey Epstein, a pal has claimed.

The shamed ex-Duke was revealed to have passed on at least four documents written by special advisers within minutes of receiving them during his time as a UK global trade envoy, sparking calls for him to face a criminal probe.

The latest Epstein files also show an email from Ghislaine Maxwell confirming the infamous photo of Andrew with his accuser Virginia Giuffre is real and the claim that he “had great fun” with a young Romanian model at a Buckingham Palace dinner with Epstein.

The former prince allegedly hosted Epstein and four women while Queen Elizabeth was away at Balmoral, emails suggest. Epstein described the Romanian woman, in her early 20s, as “very cute”.

His daughters Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, ditched Andrew to spend Christmas with the King at Sandringham for the traditional Royal Family Christmas after the monarch stripped his younger brother of his royal titles.

But despite the sisters’ humiliation, a friend of the family denies reports that Eugenie has cut off ties with her dad. Meanwhile, Beatrice, 37, was recently seen riding at Windsor with her father and her four-year-old daughter Sienna.

A pal told Hello Magazine: “The sisters are not abandoning their father. They aren’t turning their backs on him. But everything is obviously very strained and hard.”

The sisters are also said to be “aghast” at the revelations about their mother in the latest trove of documents released by the US government, including allegedly taking the girls to see Epstein a week after he was freed from prison for child sex crimes.

Royal author Robert Jobson, who knows the family, told the mag: “They must be overwhelmed and aghast by this. What was she thinking? Taking her daughters – the late Queen’s granddaughters – to meet this vile convicted criminal? It really beggars belief.

“Their decision to spend Christmas with the King, instead of with their parents, speaks volumes. It might be hard to rebuild what they had. It’s sad for them but the real tragedy is for the victims.”

He added of Fergie: “She is in a bad way and feeling very guilty. The last time I was in touch with her, she was worried about her mental health and mulling over the ‘what ifs’.”
