Jake Paul’s fiancee Jutta Leerdam ‘pockets £730,000’ after flashing bra at Winter Olympics

Jake Paul’s Winter Olympic star fiancee Jutta Leerdam could ‘earn £730,000’ from a staggering Nike deal after celebrating winning a gold medal by showing off her bra

Jutta Leerdam could stand to pocket $1million (£730,000) from Nike after flashing her underwear, according to an advertising expert.

The Dutch skater, 27, won gold in the 1,000m speed skating on Monday, breaking an Olympic record in the process. Overwhelmed by emotion, Leerdam unzipped her racing suit to show off her Nike sports bra during her lap of honour.

Leerdam was left in tears, as was her YouTuber-turned-boxer fiancee Jake Paul in the stands, as she rounded the ice in images that were snapped by photographers and have appeared on backpages across the globe.

The picture was also shared by Nike to their 298million followers on Instagram and Leerdam’s emotional celebration is the perfect advertising that the American sports brand can plaster across billboards for years to come.

According to the founder of female athlete advertising specialist Branthlete, Fredereique de Laat, Leerdam could be lucratively rewarded for her success. He told Dutch newspaper AD: “With Nike, I suspect you’re looking at a figure of over a million.”

Meanwhile, Meindert Schut, editor-in-chief of the business magazine Quote told NOS that Leerdam could earn around one cent (£0.0079 – £0.0081) thanks to her following of 6.2million on Instagram.

It means she could pocket 62,000 euros (£54,000) per post featuring Nike through her sponsorship.

Leerdam was also celebrated by Dutch retailer Hema following her tearful celebration as they promoted eyeliner after her makeup remained intact despite tears running down her face. Hema wrote: “Water-resistant, even with tears of joy.”

The Dutch star also sealed a lucrative modelling deal with Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand SKIMS in November.

Leerdam missed out on a second gold medal of the Games to her compatriot Femke Kok but did claim silver in the women’s 500m speed skating.

Despite her triumph, Leerdam has been accused of alienating her teammates after sharing pictures on social media of herself travelling to the Milan Cortina Games on a private jet rather than with the Dutch team. Leerdam also chose to skip the opening ceremony, instead watching it on TV.

Former footballer and TV pundit Johan Derksen took issue with Leerdam’s decision not to travel with her teammates. He said: “She’s already living like a millionaire, with private jets and everything. Her behaviour is horrible to me, like that of a diva. If I were her coach, I wouldn’t tolerate that.”
