Revealed: Stunning snaps named as Sony World Photography Awards finalists

The reigning world’s most stunning snaps have been revealed as the finalists of the Sony World Photography Awards. 

The competition, which has run for nearly two decades, celebrates the most captivating photographs over the last year.

The 30 finalists have been announced alongside more than 65 shortlisted photographers. 

The categories span: Portraiture, Street Photography, Travel, Natural World & Wildlife, Object, Motion, Lifestyle, Landscape, Creative and Architecture.

This year saw more than 430,000 submissions from over 200 countries and territories, showcasing the competition’s international reach. 

The 10 category winners will be revealed on April 16 at Somerset House, London, while a selection of photographs will be open to the public from April 17 to May 5.
