Emma Louise Jones turned heads at day one of the Cheltenham Festival as the Raceday TV presenter turned up to the Greatest Show on Turf in an eye-catching outfit
Emma Louise Jones turned heads on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival as the stunning presenter pulled off an eye-catching outfit.
The former BBC Sport host has found a new home on Raceday TV and she’s sure to be enjoying the busiest week of the racing year. Emma has been travelling around the globe in her role and even tried her hand at golf when she covered the Gold Cup from Abu Dhabi last month.
But this week all eyes are on Prestbury Park as the Greatest Show on Turf kicks off for four days of top-class Jumps racing.
Tuesday at Cheltenham sees two of the most exciting clashes in recent festival memory in the Supreme Novices Hurdle as Nicky Henderson’s Old Park Star leads the market. While Kopek Des Bordes and Lulamba go head-to-head in the Arkle before a wide-open Champion Hurdle later in the day.
Emma is sure to be casting her expert eye over the happenings on the track, but also off it as one of her roles in front of the camera sees her venturing through the festival crowd and showcasing the best outfits.
However, it was Emma who looked glamorous ahead of the day’s action as she arrived in a true spring outfit, wearing a wool hat and a red and black chequered jacket over a figure-hugging black top, rounding off the look with a chequered skirt and black tights.
Ahead of Tuesday’s action at Cheltenham, the Daily Star’s racing expert tipster Jason Heavey gave his selections for day one.
In the first race of the day in the Supreme Novices Hurdle, Jason has backed Old Park Star to vindicate his favourite tag, with Sober Glory a keen each-way punt.
In the second race of the day, Jason has sided with Kopek Des Bordes to win the Arkle ahead of fellow favourite Lulamba.
And in the main race of the day – the 4pm Champion Hurdle – Jason has tipped Lossiemouth to get her fourth win at the festival, with Golden Ace being an each-way bet player.
