There’s no denying that a fresh white duvet set is sophisticated, elegant and brightens any room and creates a polished, refined appearance. But while I value the visual appeal this brings, I’m more drawn to vibrant and quirky interior styling, much preferring bold patterns and lively bed sets that inject personality and charm into a space.
One design that I’ve seen on social media and while perusing Pinterest for renovation inspiration is the Furn Wylder Birdie Stripe Duvet Cover Set. Particularly in the green and blush pink tones.
This duvet set caught my eye not only for its colourful design but also its playful yet romantic finish with frilly detailing. Now I haven’t been able to justify splashing out yet on such a set as the king-size version currently costs £46 at retailers like Dunelm. And while that’s hardly outrageous, it’s certainly not budget-friendly.

However, over on Amazon, this duvet set has been drastically reduced to under £30 from £57, making it considerably more tempting. Now priced at £28 – the cheapest it’s been in a month – the king-size set delivers classic British heritage elegance to any bedroom with delicate ruffle edges and traditional jagged stripes on both sides. Crafted from luxurious 180 thread count cotton, it’s claimed to offer a soft, snug and breathable texture that makes getting beauty sleep an absolute pleasure.
The Furn. bedding, which is double-sided featuring stripes on each face, is available in various colours and sizes (single to super king, though not all are discounted), so for those who aren’t particularly keen on the pink and green combination, it’s also offered in butter yellow, perfect for spring, green, burgundy/pink, blue/yellow, and pink (in two tones), reports the Mirror.

One satisfied Amazon customer commented: “The duvet cover looks just like the photos, soft, well-made, and the pattern adds a lovely touch to the room.
“The colour is lovely and exactly what I was hoping for. It fits perfectly and feels comfortable.” However, they did caution future buyers about its delivery, stating: “My only concern is that it arrived in just a plastic cover with no extra packaging, which could have left it vulnerable to damage during delivery. Thankfully, it arrived in good condition.”
