Bizarre second driver ‘lobs’ takeaway at entrance door in ‘stunning’ doorbell digicam footage

A food delivery driver has been caught on camera throwing a takeaway at a customer’s front door in Edinburg, Texas, before giving a wild excuse for the act

A delivery driver was caught on camera lobbing a customer’s takeaway straight at their front door – before allegedly offering a “mad” excuse for the stunt. The hungry homeowner was left completely stumped when a loud thud echoed through the house, only to find their dinner had been delivered via airmail.

Footage captured on a doorbell camera shows the Doordash courier casually launching the bag of food toward the entrance of the property in Edinburg, Texas.

The driver reportedly claimed that ongoing work at the front of the house prevented a standard delivery. However, while the camera picked up the sounds of construction and tools were spotted on the porch, the path to the door appeared perfectly clear.

It is believed workers were actually positioned on the roof, with spare tiles visible on the grass nearby.

The clip, filmed on April 22, has since racked up over 360,000 views, leaving the internet in a state of disbelief.

Viewers flocked to the comments to slam the courier’s “bizarre” behaviour.

One stunned viewer expressed their disbelief, saying: “There’s no way she tossed that like it was nothing. Wow.”

Another person was equally taken aback by the footage, adding: “Ain’t no way that lady just threw they order like that.”

The delivery was so reckless that one person said: “I thought it was trash,” while another sarcastically posted: “She must love her job.”

The incident has even put some people off ordering out for good, with one person saying: “This is why I never order food delivery. I’d rather eat eggs at home.”
