Coronation Street spoilers subsequent week see double exit and Hope’s new storyline
Coronation Street is lining up explosive scenes next week on the cobbles after the dramatic whodunnit
Coronation Street fans will be left gripped next week after the deadly whodunnit.
In episodes this week, the hit ITV soap will reveal which resident has been murdered with the five possible victims revealed as Megan Walsh, Theo Silverton, Maggie Driscoll, Jodie Ramsey and Carl Webster.
Each instalment this week has been a standalone episode centred on each victim as we see their final day and evening before the whodunnit, Friday’s episode will join all the episodes together where the whodunnit victim will finally be revealed.
And spoilers for next week see the explosive aftermath as a double exit is teased while a new storyline involving Hope Stape and Daniel Osbourne is revealed.

Double exit
In upcoming scenes, Ben Driscoll’s ex-wife Melanie calls at the Rovers and tells Ben it is time Will came to live with her in the wake of the Megan trauma to which he firmly shuts down.
Ben then drops a bombshell about Megan to which Eva Price steps in and explains to Melanie that Megan had them all taken in and mustn’t blame Ben.
However, Melanie still goes through with her plan as later in the week she suggests to Will that he should come and live with her in Scotland. With Ben set against it, Melanie ramps up the pressure on Will but he loses his temper and storms out.
The next day, Melanie continues to put pressure on Will into moving to Scotland. At the end of the week, a reluctant Ben suggests to Will that it might do him good to go and live with his mum for a while after what has happened. In a surprise twist, Will agrees to go the next day. Will Will leave and if he does, it will be a double exit for him and Melanie on the cobbles…
Hope’s new storyline
Also in spoilers for next week, Hope will be part of a new storyline and it’s bad news for teacher Daniel Osbourne. In the upcoming scenes, Daniel tells Hope that he suspects she cheated with her poem and used AI to which Hope retaliates with a snide remark about Megan.
When he orders her to write another poem, she makes one up about Daniel’s relationship with Megan. As a furious Daniel tries to grab the paper out of her hand, Hope accuses him of assault as Mrs Crawshaw demands to know what’s going on.
Later in the week, Daniel can’t contain his fury when he tells Ken about Mrs Crawshaw’s disciplinary action. Daniel vents to Adam but when his outburst frightens Bertie, Daniel tells Ken and Adam he’s heading to the Lakes to clear his head.
They agree to watch Bertie, but once alone, Daniel shuts the world out with a bottle of whisky. Does Daniel have any intention of leaving and is he okay?
Whodunnit aftermath
In upcoming scenes, a grim discovery of a body sends shockwaves through the street.
Meanwhile, Kit Green begins a series of tense interrogations and the residents struggle to process the tragedy. Elsewhere, the pathologist’s report soon turns a tragic ending into a murder investigation.
Later in the week, the police investigation into the murder continues. As DS Lisa Swain begins a formal round of questioning, inconsistencies in someone’s story start to emerge, leading to a public arrest.
The next day, as a resident is still being held for questioning, those closest to the suspect struggle to come to terms with it. Meanwhile, a startling piece of forensic evidence leaves Lisa and Kit convinced they are one step away from a breakthrough. Elsewhere, a desperate attempt to destroy incriminating footage proves that more than one person has a dark secret to hide.
As the week ends, the investigation intensifies as the pressure begins to mount for one couple. Meanwhile, a suspicious partner demands the truth behind a sudden change in behavior while Kit and Lisa move in to conduct an interrogation.
Elsewhere, a desperate lie provides a temporary lifeline, but as police tech experts work to recover deleted evidence, the threat of exposure looms. Meanwhile a seemingly innocent photograph reveals a hidden presence at the scene of the crime that could change everything. Will a secret alibi hold up or has the truth been caught on camera?
